Feedback Requests: Overview

Why Get Customer Feedback?

Asking for feedback from your customers will tell you who your best customers are to further your great reputation, and on the opposite end of the spectrum, where your business can improve. Signpost gives you the flexibility to collect feedback from your customers - or not! 

When you activate your new Signpost account, it will have the Feedback Campaign turned off, meaning it will not ask for customer feedback. However, if you are interested in collecting customer feedback - it is easy to enable!

How To: Turn Feedback Requests On or Off

1. Log in to your Signpost account and click the Campaigns tab

2. Click the "..." button and choose Manage Auto-Send Settings from the drop-down menu

3. Choose whether you'd like to turn sending on/off for email subscribers, text subscribers, or both, then click Save Settings

How To: Send Yourself a Preview of a Feedback Request

1. Log in to your Signpost account and click the Campaigns tab

2. Click the Send Preview button and choose the review sites you'd like to send a preview of, either via email or text

How To: View Your Customer Feedback

1. Log in to your Signpost account and click the Campaigns tab

2. Scroll down to the Ongoing Campaigns section and click Feedback

3. Scroll down to Customers Who Left Feedback to view a list of your Feedback responses. They're sorted by the most recent at the top, and get older as you scroll down. Additionally you can click on All Feedback and filter for specific types of Feedback - Positive or Neutral and Negative, with or without a written comment.

How To: Download Your Feedback Responses

1. Log in to your Signpost account and click the Campaigns tab

2. Scroll down to the Ongoing Campaigns section and click Feedback

3. Click Download Feedback Report to download a .csv file of all Feedback. If you'd like to download Feedback of a certain type, you can click on All Feedback and filter for Feedback - Positive or Neutral and Negative, with or without a written comment.
