Edit a Contact's Name, Email, or Phone Number

Easily keep your contact list organized by updating your customers' names, email addresses, and phone numbers. 

1. Log in to your Merchant Center and navigate to the "Contacts" tab

2. Type the contact's name or email address in the search bar and hit the "Enter" key


3. Click the contact's name to open their profile

4. Click "Edit Contact Information" in the top right-hand corner

5. There are a few actions you can take from here:

  • Edit the contact's name
  • Remove a phone number or email address
  • Choose a specific phone number or email address to market to 
  • Create a new contact with the listed phone number or email address
  • Add a new phone number or email address
  • Merge with another contact

Edit the contact's name:

1. Click the purple "Edit" text next to the existing name


2. Make your desired edits in the text box, then click the purple "Update Name" button to save

Remove a phone number or email address,

Choose the primary phone number or email address, or

Create a new contact with the listed phone number or email address:

1. Click the purple "Edit" text next to the email address or phone number you would like to make changes to

2. Choose the action you would like to complete and click the purple "Save" button to update

Add a new phone number or email address, or

Merge with another contact:

1. Click the purple "Add a new ____" text under the relevant category

2. Type in the new phone number or email address and click the purple "Add" button to save


3. If the email or phone already exists in another customer profile, you will be asked if you would like to merge the two profiles into one. Click "Merge Contacts" to do so
