Email deliverability rates depend on the “reputation” of the account emails are sent from. Lists with large amounts of contacts are at risk of containing email addresses that are no longer in service, putting the “reputation” of the account and future deliverability rates at risk.
To prevent this from happening, we may hold some recently added contacts from large list uploads in a temporary “quarantine.”
If you upload a large list or have uploaded more than 1,000 contacts in the past 7 days, you may see this message:
- “While Mia learns how well she can deliver messages to your newly-added contacts, we may hold some of them in your Pending Contacts list.”
When you complete your upload, you may then see a new section at the bottom of the Contacts tab labeled “Pending,” which will show the list of quarantined contacts.
Contacts from this tab will be automatically transferred to your subscribed marketing list at a rate of 1,000 contacts per week to ensure that your account’s reputation and deliverability are not negatively impacted.
