The tracking (forwarding) phone number is a tool used to capture more contacts and increase engagement through Signpost. You can find your tracking number by logging into your Merchant Center and navigating to Settings > Phone.
Your tracking number will be listed on your Google and Facebook pages for you. We recommend adding it to your website, business cards, or any other marketing material. When someone finds you on those pages and dials your tracking number, calls will ring directly to your local business number.
The caller’s contact information will be automatically logged in your Customer Contacts tab. This will give you more information into their engagement habits. Additionally, if you have our IVR Feature enabled, anybody who calls this number will be prompted to opt into your text marketing program.
