Unsubscribing contacts helps Mia avoid sending marketing messages to:
- friends and family members
- vendors or employees of your business
- contacts who have provided negative Feedback Responses
Unsubscribe Contacts
To unsubscribe a contact from your Contact List:
1. Scroll through your list to find the contact you want to unsubscribe, or type their name or email address in the Search bar and hit the "Enter" key on your keyboard
2. Click the purple toggle next to their name, which will turn gray to indicate that the contact is now unsubscribed
To unsubscribe a contact from within their Customer Profile:
1. Click the purple toggle under their name, which will turn gray to indicate that the contact is now unsubscribed
To unsubscribe multiple contacts at once:
1. Filter your visible contact list to show only the contacts you would like to unsubscribe
2. Click the checkmark next to "Subscribed" in the menu bar to select all filtered contacts. (If the filtered contacts fill up more than one page, click "Select all [###] contacts" in the gray box that appears above)
3. Click the gray Actions menu and choose "Mark Selected As," then "Not Subscribed"
Re-subscribe Contacts
Note: Due to text marketing proof of consent laws, phone numbers cannot be manually subscribed.
Note: If the toggle for the contact is a lighter gray than the toggles pictured on this page, then the contact has unsubscribed themselves from further marketing messages from you, and you will not be able to re-subscribe them.
To view your unsubscribed Contacts, you must first filter your visible contact list to show only contacts that are not subscribed to marketing.
To re-subscribe a contact from your Contact List:
1. Scroll through your list to find the contact you want to subscribe, or type their name or email address in the Search bar and hit the "Enter" key on your keyboard
2. Once you find the contact you would like to re-subscribe, click the gray toggle next to their name, which will turn purple to indicate that the contact is now subscribed
