Public and Private Feedback

When you receive feedback, it can either be public or private. Below are the scenarios in which feedback is private or public.  


Feedback is private when:

  • It is negative (3 stars or lower).
  • No text is provided with their star rating (negative or positive).
  • If they uncheck the box in the image below before submitting their feedback.


Feedback is public when:

  • They provide an additional comment with their 4 or 5 star rating and leave the box checked.

Private feedback as seen in the "Recent Customer Activity" section on your dashboard. No text was provided so there is nothing to publish. Therefore, the rating is private.
